It's very easy to help others. From opening a door for an old man to volunteering at a nursing home, there are many ways to help others. When you are deciding you want to help, it is important to find the right volunteer work that is perfect for you.
If you like working with people, you can volunteer in the hospital or at a nursing home. Usually these volunteer positions give you time to visit people, bring them flowers and food, read stories for them, and just give company.
If you like working with animals, you had better volunteer at an animal shelter. There you can walk dogs, clean cages, or help with adoptions. You may spend most of your time with animals, not humans.
If you like working outdoors, it's ideal to volunteer in the park. You can plant flowers, rake leaves, or clean up the rubbish there.
Once you decide to help, your time will be used efficiently.
