B
Dear Kelly,
Hi from New York City! Yesterday we visited Central Park, a big city park in New York. It is over one-half mile(英里) wide and two and one-half miles long with so much to do. We took a ride through the park and even had a boat trip on one of the park's lakes. My mum loved looking at all the works of art in the park. Dad enjoyed the free classical music concert(音乐会) there. My brother and I liked the zoo best. It was small but had some wonderful animals. Our guide said the Central Park Zoo is the oldest zoo in the United States.

In the afternoon, we took a ship to see the famous Statue of Liberty. It stands in New York Harbor near the sea. Our tour guide said France gave this 46-metre statue to the United States in 1884. It means the friendship(友谊) between the two countries. The tour guide told us that between 1820 and 1937, more than 37,000,000 people came to the United States. And they felt welcomed by this statue when they entered our country at Ellis Island. Dad said my grandparents came to this country through Ellis Island. They were often excited when they saw "Miss Liberty".
Well, I better run. We are going to try to see a Broadway play. See you soon.
Love,
Christie

解析
【分析】
15题:解题思路是定位文中提到的同行人物,信中明确提及“my mum”“Dad”“My brother”,这些均为家人,据此判断选项。
16题:代词指代题需联系前文语境,前文提到“My brother and I liked the zoo best”,因此It指代前面的zoo,结合选项分析即可。
