Many children like playing musical instruments, such as the violin and the guitar. Kate learns to play the violin and she thinks it is helpful to her.
Learning an instrument is difficult at first. When Kate first plays the violin, it sounds bad, so her mother asks her to practise outside. After one year’s practice, she plays it much better. She begins to learn difficult music.
Playing an instrument is fun. It also helps children a lot. First, it helps them focus on one thing. Kate says, “When I practise, I need to think carefully about music. Now I can keep my mind on my schoolwork for a longer time.” Second, it makes children more confident. Kate says, “I was afraid to play in front of many people at first. But now I’m not afraid anymore.”
All in all, learning a musical instrument is really good for children. It can make them happy and help them grow well.
