Pablo Picasso was born on 25th October 1881, in Southern Spain. His father was a painter and also an art teacher. He gave Little Picasso his first lesson in painting. The boy showed great interest in it and learned it very quickly.
Picasso painted very well from an early age, and he won an important prize(奖）at the age of 15. Later he studied in some cities in Spain. When he was 19, he visited Paris. At that time, Paris was the centre of the world for artists. Everything in Paris was new to Picasso. When he was 23, he moved to Paris and spent the rest of his life in France.
