2026年仁爱英语同步练习册九年级英语全一册仁爱版第187页答案
一、阅读理解。
A
The Earth is getting warmer day by day, and this big change brings great trouble to many animals. Their homes called habitats(栖息地)are changing rapidly and greatly, and some animals even lose their living spaces forever. Let's look at some sad examples around the world.
Polar bears live on the Arctic sea ice and walk on the ice to find food. But as the Earth becomes warmer, the sea ice melts earlier every spring and freezes later every winter. The ice becomes smaller and smaller, so their living space is getting smaller too. Some of them can't get enough food to eat.
Another one is the red panda(小熊猫). They live in the cool and wet forests of the Himalayas. The warm weather makes the temperature go up in these forests. The bamboo, which is the red panda's only food, can't grow well in hot weather. With less bamboo and hotter living spaces, red pandas have to move to higher mountains to find a cool home. But the high mountainous habitat is very small, and it's hard for them to live there.
Many other animals like penguins and sea turtles are also in danger. Their habitats are smaller because of warm oceans and rising sea levels. If the Earth keeps warming, more and more animals will lose their homes, and some may even disappear from the Earth forever. We must take action now to stop the Earth from getting warmer to protect these lovely animals.
