Winter came and the weather got very cold. The swallow died at the prince's feet. The prince's heart broke with sadness. However, death was not the end. When spring came, an angel visited the town and took the swallow and the prince's heart to heaven as the two most valuable things on Earth. At last, they could live in a garden of gold forever.
