Emily is talking about how to help Earth ...
My family and school love helping Earth.
Mum gives us a VERY big box! Anna and I put old boxes, cans and bottles into it. We take them to the recycling centre every Saturday! Dad puts a big "jacket" on our house, so we need less heating!
At school, our Power-saving Team walks around to turn off lights and computers. My classmates always walk to school! We put the parts of fruit we don't eat into a garden bin. They become plant food!
I'm also the "Paper Saver". I take some paper back to the class, so others can use the other side. We'll make Christmas cards from old newspapers! I want to use old boxes to make a robot! I also put some old boxes into the recycling bin near our classroom!
Remember: Little hands can do BIG things for our planet!
