During the 2026 Spring Festival, the Puning Fumei Youth Yingge Team went on a tour (巡回演出) in Europe. They first performed (表演) in Russia, and then went to Madrid, Spain, as their ▲ stop. They performed the amazing Guangdong Yingge dance there.
They took part in Madrid’s “Happy Chinese New Year” show on February 20. Many people watched their wonderful performance. The Chinese Ambassador (大使) to Spain was there, too.
The team performed in squares and parks. *Young Spanish people picked up traditional Yingge drumsticks to copy (模仿) their drum beats (鼓点的节奏) and footwork. Spanish dance groups also danced with them, and everyone had a great time.
During the event, Spain issued (发行) a Yingge-themed stamp for the first time. This small stamp has become an important bridge for cultural exchange. Local people and stamp collectors all love it.
The team also visited the China Cultural Centre in Madrid and signed an agreement. It helped Spanish people know more about China.
