Yesterday, my parents took me for my
first trip to Beijing. We took the train G430
from Lanzhou. It took us more than eight
hours to get to Beijing. We walked out of the
train station at 5:30 in the afternoon and went
to the hotel.
Today, we got up early, had a quick
breakfast and began our trip in Beijing.
At 6:00,we got to Tian'anmen Square to
watch the flag raising and I felt great in my
heart. Then we visited the Palace Museum. I
was surprised to see so many beautiful pal-
aces. In the afternoon,we went to the National
Museum. We saw a lot of old things on show.
This is my plan for the next two days:
Visit the Summer Palace and Xiangshan
Park on March 3.
Climb the Great Wall on March 4.
