Ⅱ. Read and complete the tasks.
Which interests you most during a trip? Great views, busy cities or historical sites? Why choose just one when you can find them all in Scotland?

Last year, I had a wonderful trip to Scotland. My journey started in Edinburgh, a city full of history and excitement. I visited Edinburgh Castle, where I learnt about the brave warriors (战士) and kings of Scotland. I was also lucky to join in the famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe. I watched performances (演出) of theatre, comedy and music, and the festival made the city much more lively.
Then I took a coach north to Loch Ness, a special lake that holds more water than all the lakes in England and Wales together! Stories say that a monster lives in the lake. I don't believe it, and I still had a nice time walking along the lake and enjoying the landscapes.

One thing you can't miss in Scotland is taking the Jacobite Steam Train. Many people think it's the best train journey in the world! Along the way, I enjoyed amazing views of lakes, rivers and mountains. The train even crossed the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, which can be seen in Harry Potter films.
For me, Scotland is truly a place with so much to explore and learn from.
