This past summer, my friends and I noticed how messy our neighbourhood park was. We wanted it to be different. We worked without parents or teachers to clean up the park. We had a great time making the park even better than before, and now the whole neighbourhood is able to share and enjoy it again.
Volunteering can not only do good in the community, but it can also make you happier. Studies show that people who volunteer hardly develop depression(抑郁).
