(A)
Last Tuesday afternoon, I joined the Robotics Club for the first time. I felt both nervous and excited as I walked into the classroom. About twelve students were already there, including my best friend Tom. He said hello to me with a big smile. The room looked amazing with all kinds of robot parts and tools on the tables.
“Don’t worry,”Tom said to me. “Mr Chen is very nice. He taught me how to make a simple robot last month, and now I can do it by myself!”
Mr Chen, our teacher, walked over with a friendly smile. He gave me a blue box. “Today, we’re going to build solar-powered cars,” he told the class. Then he held up a black panel. “Does anyone know what this is?”
Almost all the students raised their hands. Lily answered first, “It’s a solar panel! It can change sunlight into electricity to make our cars move!”
“Very good!” Mr Chen said happily. “Now please work in pairs and follow the instructions carefully.”
Tom and I started building our car. First, we put on four small wheels. Then we connected the motor to the solar panel with two wires—one red and one black. When we took our car outside to test it, something funny happened—it moved backwards instead of forwards! The whole class laughed, but Mr Chen said, “That’s how we learn! Try changing the two wires.”
We tried three times. On the third try, our car moved forward perfectly! “We did it!” we shouted and gave each other a high-five. I felt really proud of our work.
Now I understand why our headmaster always says that good clubs make learning fun. Next week we’ll learn to make robots dance with easy coding. I’m really looking forward to our next club meeting! I think the Robotics Club is going to be my favourite after-school activity.

44题:原文中Mr Chen说“That’s how we learn! Try changing the two wires”,体现他鼓励学生从错误中学习,对应选项D。
