On January 1st, our class went on a trip to Fun World Zoo. It took us one hour and a half to get there by bus. We saw many animals there, such as pandas, giraffes, monkeys, camels and so on. It was the first time for me to be so close to the animals. From this wonderful trip, I could learn a lot out of my textbook.
First I got to know that there was a strange bird called Dodo. Then I was also surprised to know that there are seven bones in a giraffe's neck. From the poster I could see that the snakes live on land, in trees or in water. In cold winter, they eat little or nothing for months. What's more, it is quite interesting that camels can live without water for a long time. And there are no bones in the back of an elephant's feet—only fat! The elephant takes a shower with its trunk. It is fantastic, right?
