Last Spring Festival,I celebrated with my family. It was great fun!
Before the festival
My dad and I cleaned the house. My brother and I pasted fu on the door. We put red fu upside down because it means good luck comes!
On Chinese New Year’s Eve
My family got together for a big dinner. We ate delicious jiaozi. I made it with my mother. We dressed in red and waited for the Spring Festival Gala. We watched it together and counted down to 12 o’clock. “10,9,8,7... Happy New Year!” we shouted. Then we watched beautiful fireworks(烟花) with bright sparks in the sky.
During the Spring Festival
We visited our relatives and friends. I got red envelopes with lucky money! I was so happy. I really liked watching the lion and dragon dances on the street. They were so fun!
