My name is Leo,and I am a nature explorer. My adventure began two years ago when I found an old bird's nest（巢）in our backyard. Since then, every weekend has been a discovery.
My tools are simple:a notebook,a pencil,and my grandfather's old binoculars（双筒望远镜）. I like to watch and write down what I see. I often sit quietly by a little river near my home to watch birds flying above the water. I draw the different shapes of leaves from trees in the park.
Last autumn,my biggest discovery happened. I noticed a line of ants carrying crumbs（面包屑）much larger than themselves. I followed them for over an hour,across the garden and under the fence. They led me to their nest,a small hole at the base of an old tree. It was like finding a secret city. I drew a map in my notebook,showing their “highway” from our kitchen door to their home.
Being an explorer doesn't mean going to faraway places. It means paying close attention to the amazing world right outside your door. I've learnt that nature is full of tiny,busy worlds and amazing stories,waiting for anyone who is curious enough to look.
