Play the Guqin to the ox
Gong Mingyi can play the Guqin very well. When he plays his music,people feel very happy. One day,he goes out for a walk with the Guqin in his hands. He sees an ox eating dinner there. He is happy and wants to play for the ox. Then he starts to play the Guqin to the ox under a big tree. The music is very great,but the ox ignores(忽视;不理)it and goes on eating dinner. It doesn't know music at all.
Get up with the rooster
Zu Ti and Liu Kun are good friends. They study in the same room every day. One morning,when they are sleeping,the rooster crows(打鸣). Zu Ti says to Liu Kun,"How about getting up to play swords(剑)when the rooster crows in the morning?" Liu Kun wants to sleep very much,but he gets up from the bed. From then on,they get up to play swords when the rooster crows every day. Later they are very great and people all know them.
