Learn to Fail, Fail to Learn
No one likes failing. It feels disappointing when you study hard for a test but still get a low grade, or when you practise for weeks but still lose a game. However, successful people around the world share one secret: they know how to fail well. 1
First, see failure as a teacher, not an enemy. When things go wrong, ask yourself: What can I learn from this? Thomas Edison failed thousands of times before inventing the light bulb. 2 Each failure taught him what didn't work, bringing him closer to what did work.
