The Amazon Rainforest(亚马孙雨林) is in South America. It is about 5.5 million square kilometers—making it the largest rainforest on the earth.
The Amazon Rainforest is really important for the earth and living things. First of all, it's like an "oxygen factory"—giving us fresh air to breathe, and much of the clean air we take in every day comes from it. Second, it's home to a large number of plants and animals. Some fires start because of lightning(闪电) and others may be caused by people. All these problems are making the rainforest get smaller and putting its animals and plants in great danger.
How can humans solve the problems? Here are some ideas which can be helpful. For example, the government can check for the possible danger regularly(定期地). Also, it can let more people be aware of the importance of the rainforest. However, the future of the Amazon Rainforest doesn't only depend on ideas.
