One day, Jim meets an old seaman called Billy Bones. He has a map showing the location of Captain Flint's treasures on an island far away. After Bones dies, Jim gets the map. Their leader is a one-legged man named Long John Silver. He is the cook on the ship. The pirates try to take the map from Jim and his friends. But they all fail. After many adventures, Jim and his friends find the treasures. Jim and his friends go back to England finally. Although Robert Louis Stevenson wrote the book in 1881, Treasure Island is still a popular book until now. Both children and adults enjoy this exciting adventure story.
