Recently, some students like to work as volunteers. For example, they work in parks, hospitals, the Old People's Home or do something helpful for the environment.
Bob is fourteen years old and he is in Grade Eight in a middle school. He goes to a park to help to clean the park every morning. He feels happy and satisfied(满意的）after seeing a clean and tidy park. He usually goes to the Children's Hospital with his friends to tell stories to children on the weekend. He and his friends always take some gifts for the children there. He thinks they need help and love, so he is very glad to do this. During summer vacations, he and his friends often go to the Old People's Home to give love to the old. They talk with the old and perform(表演）all kinds of shows for the old people.
Bob is kind and friendly. He finds that it is a happy thing to be a volunteer. He not only feels good about helping others, but also thinks he does something useful.
