My mother is the best cook in my eyes. Every day, she spends much time cooking lots of tasty dishes for our family. My favorite is her sweet and sour pork.
To make it, she first cuts pork into small pieces, seasons(调味) them with salt pepper and a bit of cooking wine. Then she covers the pieces with a mix of flour and egg, and fries them until golden. After that, she combines(使……混合,结合)ketchup, sugar, vinegar and some water, stirring until the sauce thickens(勾芡). Finally, she mixes the fried pork with the sauce. The wonderful smell always makes me hungry.
She also gets up early for our breakfast, like fried eggs and milk. After work, she rushes home to prepare dinner. She remembers everyone's favorite foods.
