Joel Boyers,a helicopter pilot in Helistar Aviation,was heading home with his wife,Melody Among,from the Nashville airport when he received a call from a stranger in Pennsylvania. The caller said that her brother and his two daughters were trapped(困住) on their roof in Waverly,60 miles from Nashville,because of the rising floodwaters.
"Could you please rescue my loved ones?" she asked.
Joel looked west towards Waverly and saw the storm clouds. "Ma'am, no one will fly in this weather," he said," ▲ ." He put the brother's address into his phone,and then drove back to the airport.
Soon,Joel and Melody were in the air. Upon arriving,they found the water below was rapid and people were holding tightly onto anything that didn't move. Cell phone service was also cut off, meaning Joel couldn't use his phone to locate the house he was looking for. He flew on anyway.
Melody kept searching for people trapped on roofs,bridges—anywhere Joel could land and get them into the helicopter. Suddenly,she found a girl,who was barely out of the water,wet and tired out,one hand grasping a tree and the other holding her dog. With no place to land,Joel lowered the helicopter until it hovered(盘旋) just above the water line. Then Melody helped the girl and the dog get on board. After dropping them off on a safe street,Joel and Melody were back in the air again.
Ninety minutes later,professional rescue helicopters showed up when Joel and Melody almost ran out of fuel(燃料) after rescuing 17 people. Now the caller phoned back to say that her loved ones had been saved.

1. 第1题定位女士的请求句,判断其打电话的核心目的;
2. 第2题分析上下文转折逻辑,匹配Joel的行为对应语句;
3. 第3题定位救援女孩时的困难描述,筛选正确选项;
4. 第4题逐一核对选项与原文信息,排除错误表述;
1. 第1题:根据原文第二段女士的话“Could you please rescue my loved ones?”,可知她打电话是请求Joel救援亲人,对应选项D。
C“but I'd see what I can do(但我试试)”符合逻辑。
3. 第3题:根据原文第五段“With no place to land, Joel lowered the helicopter...”,可知救援女孩的主要困难是找不到安全降落点,对应选项B。
1.D 2.C 3.B 4.C 5.D
