Long long ago, there was a salt seller and a horse in the village. The salt seller used to carry the salt bag on his horse to the market every day. On the way they had to cross a river. From day to day, The horse felt tired. One day the horse suddenly tumbled down into the river and the salt bag also fell into the water. The salt dissolved in the water and so the bag became very light to carry. The horse was happy.

Then the horse started to play the same trick every day. The salt seller came to understand the trick and decided to teach a lesson to him. The next day, the seller loaded a cotton bag on the horse. Again the horse played the same trick hoping that the cotton bag would still become lighter.
But the wet cotton became very heavy to carry and the horse suffered much. He learnt a lesson. After that he did not play the trick and the seller was happy.
