C The mice meeting
There was a grocery in a town. Lots of mice lived in that grocery. They ate everything and spoiled all the bags. The shop owner got really worried. So he thought, "I should buy a cat and let it stay in the shop. So I can save my things."

He bought a big fat cat and let him stay there. The mice could not move freely now. They were afraid that the cat would eat them up anytime. The mice wanted to do something. They had a meeting and all of them said, "We must get rid of the cat. Who has an idea?"
All the mice sat quietly. Then a smart-looking mouse stood up and said, "The cat moves softly. That is the problem. If we can tie a bell around his neck, then things will be fine. When the cat goes anywhere, we can know." "Yes, that is a good idea," said all the mice. An old mouse slowly stood up and asked, "Who would tie the bell?" But there was no one to answer this question.

1. Why did the shop owner buy a cat?
2. What's the idea of the mice?
答案
1. Because lots of mice lived in his grocery. They ate everything and spoiled all the bags. He was worried and wanted to save his things.
2. They wanted to tie a bell around the cat's neck. Then they can know where the cat goes anytime.
2. They wanted to tie a bell around the cat's neck. Then they can know where the cat goes anytime.
解析
