On November 11, 2025, 13-year-old swimming star Yu Zidi did something amazing at the 15th National Games. She won the gold medal in the women's 200m individual medley (个人混合泳) with a time of 2:07.41.

She swam so fast that she broke the Chinese and Asian records! No one had broken these records since 2012. She also beat her personal best by 1.8 seconds. Many people in the swimming world were surprised. Some said it was one of the best swims they had ever seen.
