I like to make things by myself, but the things are not what I want. I try doing many things. I tried paper-cutting, but my paper-cuts were not beautiful. I tried cooking, but Dad's birthday cake wasn't delicious. Every time I tried to make one thing, I ended up with(以……结束) something different. I was very sad about that. But this time, I wanted to try again. I tried to make a model mammoth(猛犸象模型).
When I finished, it was too big. I had to put it in the garden because there wasn't any room for a mammoth in the house. That night I couldn't sleep, so I got out of bed. Then I saw a bear coming near our house. The bear stood in front of the door, and looked at the mammoth for some time. Maybe he thought the mammoth was so big and that there was no way for him to win, so he left. Everyone in the house was safe. Finally, I thought I could make something useful.
