Dear Mum and Dad,
I know you are wondering why I wrote to you. The fact is that I'm not happy with some of our family rules. After all, I'm not a child anymore. I'm 14. I'm a teenager now. Anyway, I don't know how to "talk to" you, so please "hear me out".

If I have more allowance, I promise（承诺） not to spend any on sweets or expensive toys.
Last but not least, could you please not use the word GROUND（罚不准出门） in front of my friends? I don't mind being grounded for a week or a month, just no this word when my friends are with us. It hurts my feelings.
