My favourite traditional Chinese festival is the Dragon Boat Festival. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. It has a long history. It falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year. It is a day to remember Qu Yuan, a great poet. On this day, we eat zongzi and watch dragon boat races. We also put Chinese mugwort leaves around the door and take a special bag with us.
What makes the festival special to me is the dragon boat race. I took part in a dragon boat race with my friend this year. The members of my team had such great team spirit that everybody tried his best to win the race.
