Sunday, cloudy
Last summer, my parents and I went on a trip to Yan'an, a very important place in Chinese history. I was so excited to explore!
On the first day, we visited a big museum. It was full of old things and pictures that told stories about great leaders like Mao Zedong. They were very brave and smart, and I learned a lot from them.
The next day, we went to Yangjialing, an old place where important meetings happened. I imagined people talked and made big decisions there. It felt like going back to the past!
My favorite place was Zaoyuan. We saw the simple houses where leaders used to live. They didn’t have many things, but they worked very hard for our country. It taught me to appreciate what I have now and to study harder.
This trip was not only fun but also educational. I learned so much about Chinese history and felt proud of my country. Spending time with my parents in Yan'an was amazing! I will remember this trip. It made me love Chinese history even more and respect our heroic people. I can’t wait to visit more places like this in the future!
