D
What makes a great team? Is it having
star players, a strict coach, or lots of
practice? While these things are important,
they don't make a team great on their own.
A great team needs teamwork, cooperation,
and mutual respect. Let's look at two
examples.
In 1960, a Chinese mountaineering
team tried to reach the top of Mount
Everest. When they were close to the
summit, one climber, Qu Yinhua,
had badly frostbitten feet. He
couldn't move easily. Instead of leaving him
behind to reach the top, the team leader
Wang Fuzhou and other members decided to
help him. They carried him, shared their
food and water, and encouraged him.
Though they gave up their chance to be the
first to reach the summit that time, they
showed what a great team is. It is a great
honour for a team to put their members
first.
Another example is dragon boat racing.
A dragon boat has 22 people: 20 paddlers, 1
drummer, and 1 steers person. All team
members must work together perfectly. If
even one person makes a mistake, the whole
team will be affected. What if the drummer
speeds up suddenly? The paddlers must
adjust quickly. If the steers person loses
control, the boat may go off course. Dragon
boat racing teaches us that clear roles and
good communication are key to success.
So a great team is not just about winning.
It's about supporting each other and working
together to achieve a common goal. Remember:
Together, everyone achieves more.

1960、mountaineering team、give up reaching the summit,15题的dragon boat racing等;2.
15. 细节理解题:定位到原文第三段末尾,直接给出原句“Dragon boat racing teaches us that clear roles and good communication are key to success.”,和选项B表述完全一致。

D "What's the matter?",完全符合语境。
Is the project hard for everyone to work on?" A "No, it isn't."。
C "What should I do?"。
G "I have no experience as a leader."。
F "Hope things will work out."。
