“I love this clock, but it is broken(坏的),” says Nana. “Let's fix it,” Rose says.
Nana and Rose look at the clock. These hands don't turn at all. They take the hands off. Then they put them back on. But it doesn't help.
Nana says, “The little door will not open.” Rose opens the door. But the clock is still broken.
Nana says, “The bird won't come out.” Rose pulls the bird out. But the clock is still broken.
“Let's take the back off. Then we can look in the clock,” Rose says. They take the back off. They see one big wheel(轮子) and three little wheels. “The wheels can spin(旋转),” says Rose. “So why won't the clock go?”
“I have to put this clock in the trash can(垃圾桶),” Nana says. “Stop, Nana!” says Rose. “I see how to fix the clock.” And she does.
