Two little cats
Two little cats,
One snowy night,
Began to miaow and then to fight.
One had a mouse,
The other had none,
And that's the way the fight began.
“I'll have that mouse!" said the bigger cat.
“I'll have that mouse!" said the older cat.
The old lady held her broom,
And swept the two cats out of the room.
The ground was full of snow,
And the two little cats had nowhere to go.
So they lay down at the front door,
While the old lady finished cleaning the floor.
Then they walked in as quietly as mice,
All wet with snow and cold as ice.
For they found it was better that snowy night,
To lie down and sleep than to fight.
