2026年新课程学习辅导八年级英语下册人教版第55页答案
五、阅读短文,完成下列任务。
The Sahara Desert is the largest desert in the world. It spans 11 countries in North Africa and is about 9 million square kilometres in size. It is a very difficult place to survive. Here is some advice if you want to visit it.
During the day, cover your body, head and face. Wearing a hat and long light clothes protects you from the sun and helps reduce water loss in your body. Take some warm clothes and a blanket. You will need a hat, long trousers and a thick sweater to keep you warm at night. It can get cold rapidly.
It's important to stay out of the sun during the day. Dig a hole under your car and lie there. This will keep you cool and help you sleep.
Find a warm place to sleep at night. A small place near a tree or a rock will be the warmest. But be cautious before you decide where to sleep. Dangerous animals like snakes also like to sleep in these places. Watch out for animals before you lie down, or they may hurt you.
