Mrs Green walks into the classroom with many boxes in different colours. She says happily, “Today, I have a little game for you. You can each pick one box that you like. But remember, once you choose it, you can’t swap(交换) it for another one.”
The students get excited. They stand up quickly one by one. Some pick red ones because red is their favourite colour. Others choose green, saying it looks nice. A few go for blue, thinking it may have something special inside. Soon, every student has a box in their hand.
“Now, let’s open them together!” Mrs Green says. Those with red boxes cheer because there are lots of sweet candies inside! The ones with green boxes laugh too, because they find delicious chocolates. But the students with blue boxes look sad because there is nothing inside.
Just then, something nice happens. Cindy walks over to the students with blue boxes. “Here, you can have some of my candies,” she says, giving them her candies. All the sad students say “thank you” happily. Cindy smiles too.
Mrs Green claps her hands. “Everyone, look at Cindy. She is the best today. When others have nothing, she shares her candies. That’s what we should learn—sharing is a virtue. Let’s all be like Cindy!” The whole class claps for Cindy, and everyone learns that sharing can make everyone happy.
