My lifetime interest—Studying nature
When I am seven, Dad gives me a microscope(显微镜) for my birthday. That gift starts a passion(热情). It stays with me for my whole life.

Every day after school, I go to the park. I never go back home empty-handed. There are all kinds of things in my pockets, like grass, tree leaves, ants and other insects. I even get a bird after the rain! When I get home, I examine them under the microscope. It opens up a whole new world to me. I see the amazing shape of snow-flowers, and I know how beautiful butterflies' wings are. Every summer holiday I go travelling and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Studying nature is great fun for me. When I am twelve, I change my bedroom into a "Nature World". Pictures of animals and different landform(地貌) are all over the walls, so it feels like living in the wild. My room is also full of nature books, so I learn a lot about the amazing world. Once I get to high school, I join the Nature Club. My teacher teaches me how to take cool photos of nature. I save up my pocket money to buy special camera parts.
Now, I'm a biology teacher and I go by Mr Know-all. My job is super fun: I show the students how beautiful nature is, and teach them about nature in a lovely way. I even help open up a farm at the back of our school.
