Long ago, there was a strong black slave who served the king. When the king went out, he always followed.
One day, the king went to the countryside on a camel. Some slaves walked in front of the king. Others walked behind the king. The black slave rode a horse by the side of his master.
There was a box of pearls on the camel. Suddenly, the pearls fell down on the ground and rolled everywhere.
The king said to his slaves, "Go and take the pearls. I don't want to keep them any longer."
Hearing this, the slaves ran to gather the pearls. They took the pearls and kept them for themselves. But the black slave did not move from his place. He was still standing by the side of the king. He guarded his master. He cared about the life of his master. He didn't care about the master's pearls.
The king was very curious, and asked the black slave, "Why don't you go to gather the pearls?"
"Your Majesty, my job is to keep you safe. You are more important to me than pearls," he answered.
The king smiled and knew who was true to him. So the king liked the black slave very much and gave him many gifts.
