2026年仁爱英语同步练习册九年级英语全一册仁爱版第8页答案
C
I grew up in a small farming village, the soil was rich and perfect for vegetables there. Most villagers made a living by planting vegetables. Every morning, they would wake up early, pick the freshest vegetables and carry them to the nearest town to sell. Although we were busy with farming every day, the sales of the products were still low. Because the only path connecting our village to the outside world was a dirty and narrow road covered in mud. When it rained, the road became so wet and soft that it was harder for us to walk on it and carry heavy baskets through it. Many vegetables went bad before reaching the market.
One summer, a group of strangers came to our village. They walked along the muddy road, talked with the villagers about their problems and wrote things down. "Who are they?" I asked my father. "They're from the government," he replied.
Soon after, workers arrived with machines and built a smooth wide road that connected our village directly to the town. For the first time, trucks arrived at our village, which made selling vegetables much easier. The change was amazing.
The new road didn't just make going out easier, but also brought new chances for the villagers. Farmers no longer had trouble selling their vegetables. Buyers came directly to the village now. Some families even started small homestays (民宿).
Looking at the busy and lively village, I felt very thankful to those who have devoted themselves to the development of our village. Thanks to the government's policies (政策) and the villagers' hard work, my hometown is no longer a remote and poor place. It's a growing and successful community full of hope now.
