I miss everyone at home! But I am also happy to be here. I am living at my aunt's house now. My cousin Jenny and I are in the same class. Today, I felt very excited because we talked about our favourite subjects!
My group talked about art. We each brought a work to class. Mine was a picture. It had birds, clouds, a boat and the sun on it. Last summer, my family took a trip to the beach. The picture always reminds me of that holiday.
Jenny and Bill were next to show their ideas. Their favourite subject was geography. Bill displayed many photos of different beauty, from tall and green mountains to endless deserts. The world he described was amazing! Then Jenny talked about some cultures and lifestyles of other countries with the help of a world map.
Karen and Jack showed us something about physics. Jack put some very small tea leaves on the desk. Then Karen combed (梳) her long hair ten times very quickly. Then she put the comb beside the tea leaves. The leaves jumped to the comb! It was so amazing.
Finally, Danny and Lisa showed their favourite subject—PE. We went to the gym. Danny played basketball, and Lisa showed us some exercises. We talked a lot about how to stay healthy.
I really had a good time today and couldn't help thinking about it. But it is time to go to bed!
