We often say “Friendship comes first, match second.” But have you heard of “Match comes first, friendship fourteenth”? Yes, that's right. It is a slogan(口号) of the 2025 Jiangsu Football City League(联赛). While in Yangzhou, the government put on a show during the halftime, making it a good chance for the fans to learn about the history and culture there. In Yancheng, fans were able to buy a “set meal” including tickets to the match and to bird-watching at a very low price.
As the matches got hotter,“Watching ‘City League’, Travelling around Jiangsu” became a good choice for families to have outdoor fun. “It makes football part of life of people in Jiangsu. It also allows each city to improve their attractions for people all over the country,” Wu Yuyang, a journalist at the Jiaohuidian news app, noted.
