Last year, I was on holiday with my daughter in Egypt. As both of us wanted to have more time to visit more places, so I hired租用 a car.
On the first day, after driving for nearly an hour on a quiet road to the pyramids金字塔, our car started making a strange noise and then it stopped working. We couldn't believe it. I told myself maybe I could solve the problem if it was easy, but I quickly found out that the problem was more serious than I thought. I looked around and hoped to find someone to help us, but there was no one. It was too hot and dry and we only had a little water with us. I started feeling desperate, being in such a strange country.
It wasn't until an hour later that a car appeared and the driver stopped to help us. Luckily, after a quick look, the man knew what was wrong with our car. Fifteen minutes later, he got it working. It was really exciting for us. I didn't know how to show my thanks to him. The man smiled at us without saying a word and then drove away.
Though our first day didn't go well, it wasn't so bad because of the kind man.
