There is a baker in town. He sells bread to everyone. But he isn't a very nice man, and he often cheats people. His daughter sees that and learns from him.

One day, the girl is alone in the shop when an old woman comes into it. She is hungry and asks the girl for some bread. The girl tells the old woman to leave, but she doesn't. The old woman just asks again and again for bread. Finally, the girl gives her some dough(生面团).
The old woman doesn't have a place to bake the dough. So she asks the girl to assist her. The girl says OK, and she puts the dough in the oven.
It becomes a small loaf. When the bread is ready, the girl finds a large loaf instead. She can't believe it. Then, she lies to the old woman. She says, "The dough falls into the fire and burns." The old woman has no problem with that. She just asks the girl to bake another piece of dough.
That happens two more times. Each time, the girl uses a smaller and smaller piece of dough. Also, each time, the loaf grows bigger and bigger.
However, the old woman sees the last loaf. When she asks for it, the girl doesn't give it to her. The old woman knows that. She is a fairy and sees the girl's tricks.
Then, the old woman takes out her wand(魔杖) and touches the girl. The girl turns into an owl and flies out the door. Nobody sees the baker's daughter ever again.
