Today we went on a school trip to the Ocean World. The Ocean World is one of the
most famous places in our city. It has over 300 kinds of marine life and nearly 10,000
fish, such as jellyfish, green sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, seals and sea lions. It

We started at 9:00 in the morning. It took us about 40 minutes to get there by bus.
When we arrived there, we couldn't wait to have a close look at the sea animals. First,
we went to see the fish. We were excited to see the giant Brazilian bony-tongue fish, one
of the largest freshwater fishes in the world. When we watched the whale shark, the
largest fish in the world, swimming in a big tank, we were all surprised. It was so huge.
The whale shark attracted most of the tourists. It swam freely, while other smaller fishes
had to watch out. Later we went to see the colourful jellyfish. They were so beautiful
that everyone took many photos. Besides, dolphins were a big attraction, too. They were
so cute and smart. We watched a wonderful dolphin show in the afternoon. Everyone
cheered for their wonderful performance.
We left the Ocean World at 3:30 in the afternoon. We were a little tired, but the
school trip was very enjoyable and we learned a lot about the amazing sea animals.
