To answer the nation's call, we will no longer organize students to come to school for any lessons or tests on Saturdays and Sundays. We hope students can get enough rest, reduce stress and better balance study and life.

Considering the importance of helping students have a healthy body and mind, the school made this decision. Besides, it is scientific not to make students spend too much time at school.
This change in the senior high school quickly becomes a hot topic. People have different ideas about it.

Cheng Xiaomeng, a student
The two-day weekend provides me with more time for my all round development. I can take up new hobbies, like gardening, yoga or painting. Also, I can take part in volunteer work or community service. These activities help open my eyes, improve my communication skills and grow my sense of responsibility.
Li Tao, a student
My parents are busy working on weekends. For two days, there's no one watching over me. I may lose myself in playing computer games or watching TV rather than focusing on my studies. If I relax over the weekend while other classmates continue studying, I am afraid I will fall behind.
