Qian Xuesen, known as the “Father of China’s Missiles”, is a famous scientist in the world. Qian was born in Shanghai in 1911. In 1935, he studied in the USA. He studied missiles there. He told them to keep learning and never give up. After that, Qian Xuesen and his team studied day and night. They were hard-working. In 1960, China’s first ballistic missile was successfully launched. Their hard work paid off. Qian Xuesen’s work on missiles made China stronger and safer.
