In our daily life, we sometimes make mistakes. Some mistakes are not a big deal. But, if a mistake makes a few big problems, maybe you will regret for a long time. So, how can we try not to make mistakes? The best thing to do is to have self-examination(to check up on ourselves).
Self-examination helps us know ourselves well. As the old Chinese saying goes, "Every day I examine myself three times." If we do this, we will have a better understanding of ourselves.
Self-examination helps us do better next time. We all want to be successful. But when we make mistakes, what should we do? Should we get angry with others? Or should we hide in our room and not talk to anyone? The answer is no. We should check our mistakes so we can see what we did wrong. Then we can find different ways to improve ourselves.
Self-examination makes us popular. If we point out other people's shortcomings, it might make them feel bad. But when we work on our own ones, it doesn't hurt us. It helps us! Other people will think we are good friends because we are always honest. And people around us will like doing things with us.
So, self-examination helps us learn, grow, and be better friends. Let's all try to check ourselves every day.
