五、阅读理解。
Hello, everyone! My name is Cathy Green and I'm from South California, the US. I love writing. I don't like swimming, jumping or running. I have a pen friend, and she comes from Cambridge. Her name is Lucy. Lucy's parents live in Hong Kong, China. Lucy and I have many hobbies, such as travelling, reading, shopping and people-watching. What is people-watching? We think this changing world is so wonderful to us that we like to watch the way we are different from others and some of the ways in which we are the same. We like to study the things that change us. We like to see how other people live.
For most of the year, I live with my father in California. But my mother lives and works in Shanghai, so I am beginning to consider Shanghai as my second home. Shanghai is a very big city. I understand how hard it is to learn English because I've been learning Chinese and French for most of my life.
Learning a new language isn't easy, but I hope to introduce something to all of you to help make your English study more interesting. In return, I will learn more about Shanghai, my second home, and learn more about all of you!
