I wanted to write about a time in my life that changed me. I was about to turn twelve years old. I was looking forward to spending time with my cousin Lucia during the summer holiday.
One day in July, Mom told me we were going to Maine. I was unhappy because I couldn’t play with my cousin. On the trip, I chose to look out of the car window to distract myself.
