Scene 1
A grassy area outside in a school playground. (Alicia, Lisa and Malcolm came.)
Alicia:Let's sit down. I'm tired.
(Alicia sits down and the others do the same.)
Lisa:Why are you so tired? It's only Tuesday.
Alicia:I had an amazing dream last night. Then I woke up and I couldn't sleep because I was so excited.
Malcolm:Excited? Why?
(Lisa and Malcolm sit up to look at Alicia.)
Alicia:My dream was about the future. It was so real! I know it's a prediction.
Lisa:I don't believe that dreams can predict the future.
Malcolm:I agree but, sometimes, dreams can make us think about things. So does your future look good, Alicia?
Alicia:It looks amazing! First, I'll win an important singing competition. Then a film director from Hollywood will ask me to act in his new film. The film will be a success and everybody will know my name. I'll be in magazines, on television, sign autographs(签名) ...
(The school bell rings and the children look towards the school.)
Lisa:That was the shortest break ever! Come on.
(Lisa stands up and the others follow. They start to walk slowly towards the school.)
Malcolm:(laughing) I want to hear more about Alicia's famous future!
Alicia:Don't laugh! One day, you'll ask me for my autograph!
Malcolm:(interrupting) You mean like the autographs in your dream? It's just a dream, Alicia.
(Alicia looks annoyed and walks off ahead of the others. Lisa and Malcolm look at each other and follow.)
