Everyone needs help sometimes. People depend on one another. That's why communities have special people ready to help people in need. We should always show thanks for their hard work and selfless dedication(无私奉献). They work day and night to keep us safe and make our lives much easier.
For example, what would we do without a community fire station? If a home catches fire, as the Jacksons' place did last week, it might be burned down and people might get hurt… or worse. We're so lucky to have firemen to come to save people and put out the fire safely.

Think again about what we eat every day and what we wear every day. We cannot produce(生产) them, but we use them all the time. These tireless workers keep our community running. We get a lot from them and need them in the community. We depend on each other. Let's help each other. Only in this way can we make our community a better place.
