Cuju
First recorded about 2,000 years ago, cuju is known as the earliest form of football. The ball was usually made of leather on the outside and filled with rice bran inside. As a fun and relaxing game, cuju was used in the army to train soldiers.
Its rules were similar to football's. Each team usually had 12 or 16 players. No hands were allowed. Only feet and the head could be used. The ball should be hit into the opposite goal.
